    • I like them altogether as well….I’m currently in the process of varnishing and then I think I will hang them together on a wall in my studio. I am perplexed about your use of the word “medieval” can you elaborate?

      • They remind me of paintings done as allegories or on religious themes that used everyday people to illustrate the stories in medieval times. Yours have the same flavor to them – they are both illustrating an actual person or thing but also standing for a larger theme or story. And the style is also reminiscent, with the way the people are dressed and their postures, I think. I really like these paintings – they have a lot to see in them.
