Oh, the portrait is part of a larger canvas – which at this point started to be one thing and then I painted it all out…so, it’s solid gray, drying…and that’s okay. I’m settled on adding context by way of the background…I’m just not sure what I want that to be….

omg, that’s a great idea. I would have to invest in a magnifying glass and a very small brush – – but, it surely would be worth it…..seriously!
