There. Now, isn’t that better?

I fully expected to finish this today, however, when I walked into the studio I saw that it was already complete!  Ha!  I stood there for more than a moment, inspecting, critically tearing apart the strokes, the color, the shadows….nope, there’s nowhere to apply paint.  It says exactly what I set out to express, some quizzical inquiry into the future and man’s rush toward utilization of artificial intelligence…  I titled it Temptation: 404 Page Not Found.

“Temptation: 404 Page Not Found,” 2017, oil on canvas, 30″ x 40″

  1. haha. That title is perfect. I don’t know if I would have been able to appreciate it as much without it. (I’m really bad at just understanding art.) And I appreciate that feeling of coming back to something with intent, only to find it says all it needs to say.
