Ah, the error code. In attempting to complete a link, an error occurs, the page has been removed but the link to the non-existent remains. As an extension of [/life in the Matrix], it makes sense…a logical foray into …huh. Exactly. How does one paint that?
The older I get the more I suspect that the world around me, that wider world I hear about, but only see through some sort of technological distribution, is not what I have lived. So, though my inclination is to paint what I someday might want someone to hang over the sofa – – a nice figurative piece perhaps? –While writing this, I must admit, I’m told I’m given to be a bit “chatty.” My friends are compelled to set aside an hour to say “hello.”– But no, I’m given to paint, as if I were speaking – skeptically, with a dash of humor.
I am a total fan of the long look at art. Any art, whether technically proficient or crudely scribbled can speak. If you’re looking for a real statement about each piece, this is the wrong place for direction beyond the work itself. Except, that generally, I enjoy using inanimate objects to represent every-man (a gender free designation)…and, then sometimes the title of the piece can be instructive. Enjoy.
